Tobe Pottery artist. Produces mainly vases and flower vases. Succeeded in the development of matte glazes, which are characterized by their beautiful transparency. Regular member of the Japan Crafts Association, secretary of the Japan Ceramic Art Association, and member of the Ehime Prefecture Art Association.

Tobe-yaki is porcelain made mainly in Tobe Town, Iyo County, Ehime Prefecture. While it is designated as a traditional handicraft by the national government, it is also highly practical and well-designed, and one of its charms is that there are many dishes that are perfect for daily life.
