This obi was acquired from an old Japanese family that has been in existence for two generations since the early Showa period.

Certification number 290 indicates a Nishijin maker registered in Nishijin Textile Industry Association. According to the current list, the number no longer exists. In other words, this is an Obi that will never be made again.
