佐久間芳丘 Sakuma Hokyu (b1911)
Sakuma Hokyu is a pottery artist born in Mie Prefecture and is the fifth generation of the Shoko Kiln. Based on the traditional techniques of Banko-yaki, many of his works are based on motifs of animals and plants.

Kogo (Insense Container)
A small container with a lid for storing incense. It is a type of tea utensil and also a type of Buddhist altar.
