安田鴨波 Yasuda Koha (1863-1929)
Born in Tanaka, Hikami-cho in 3 Bunkyuu, his real name was Jukichi and he studied under Mikawa Kyoken as an infant. He later studied calligraphy and arithmetic under Suganuma Sadayuki of the Yodo clan and became a clerk at the Hikami County Office. He also served as treasurer of the Nanshu School of Painting established by Tanomura Chokunyu, after which he returned to his hometown and raised many children, including his eldest son Yasuda Kurigo, Ishii Kako, Tanaka Ginryudo and Chikusa Chikusai.
