Born in Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture. He studied at Kyoto Municipal College of Painting and later studied under Domoto Insho. He lived in Fukuyama city, Hiroshima. He was selected for many Nitten exhibitions. He also devoted himself to teaching younger artists.
