This sutra expresses devotion to Kukai, the founder of the Shingon sect of Buddhism. The “Daishi” in “Namu Daishi” refers to Kobo-Daishi Kukai. Hensho Kongo” refers to ”Dainichi Nyorai.

大平玉鳳 Ohira Gyokuho (b1926)
Born in Gifu Prefecture in 1926. His beautiful calligraphy with fluid strokes attracted many pupils, and he was active as a leading calligrapher.
