松樹千年翠 Shoju Sennenno Midori
松 means pine tree 樹 means leaves 千年 means thousand years 翠 means green. In short, unlike colorful flowers, pine trees are hard to spot but pine tree endures things like hard rain, hard wind for many years and always keep green. This is buddhist Zen word, in other words, it tells us not to lose essential things.
