水田竹圃 Mizuta Chikuho (1883-1958)Japanese painter of the Meiji and Showa periods. Born in Osaka. Studied under 姫島竹外 Himejima Chikugai (1840-1928). Since the first year of the Taisho era (1912), he has repeatedly been selected for the Bunten Exhibition. His work "Early Spring" won a special prize in 1916.
